After a lot of searching I decided to purchase this snowblower to replace a very old (but still very functional) single stage Toro.
I was a little worried about ordering online because of how it would possibly arrive.
It came in a crate in a box, delivered by a local carrier and they brought it right in my garage, very good and easy delivery.
This Poulan is very big- It easily takes just one pass to clear an entire sidewalk.
It has electric start which is a nice upgrade to the pull start I was previously using.
It has power steering so it is really easy to steer-
There is no straining when pushing it.
The tires are pretty big, but functional.
Really throws the snow great and you can adjust where the snow goes.
Makes a perfectly clear pathway, even in deep snow!
Easily gets through powder and the thick heavy snow!
Can do my entire driveway and walk in just a few minutes.
Also, since it gets darker earlier the flood light that is has really comes in handy!

This came by truck in a wood framed heavy duty cardboard crate. Wood skid on the bottom and wood support frame on top. It arrived without a scratch on the crate so that impressed me...I mean it(the crate)looked showroom fresh so that was great if not incredible. Unpacking and setup was impressive,..this machine is well built and very much commercial rated. The tines have shear bolts instread of shear pins which I like. The engine came with oil and started right up after adding the gas and hitting the electric start button once. The boom swings smoothly via a control lever which is nice, and it also has a headlamp. The handle bars attach with 4 (not two) wing bolts which I liked,..no skimping. Just a great machine and hogged right thru the drifts. I am very pleased with the price and quality. I haven't had a chance to use it yet... : No snow... The reviews were great on this unit and the price was right... I was a bit concerned about the shipping... I sort of expected it to have to be lifted off truck but that was not the case...The company that delivered had a dolly and pulled it from the street to the garage... Packing was excellent and the assembly was about a 20 minute job... One thing I didn't see right away were the keys to start it... They are attached to the starter handle with a wire tie... Another nice touch is they include a multi-tool that can be used for assembly and it has a little box mounted on top front of blower for storing it along with the 6 shear pins they enclose in the package... I will add to review as soon as I use it... We had over 10 feet of snow last year so I expect as much this year... The controls all work smoothly now but it is still not in a snow situation... The chute is all metal which I like as it lets snow slide easier and it should discharge further. For more information please see it below.
